Equipment Hire

The range of equipment includes party and effects lighting, uplighting, PA systems, amplifiers, mixers, smoke machines, bubble machines, stands, cables and microphones.

I can provide you with a compact party package to turn you house party or children's party into a truly memorable occasion.

If you have a celebration coming up you can save yourself the trouble and expense of hall hire and have your party at home where everything is to hand, you do not have to transport food to the hall, set up the hall, clear up the hall before you can go home, you do not have to worry about drink driving or taxis (you might keep the neighbours up but if invite them....) and you can play your own music as and when you want from CDs, MP3s, your Ipod, laptop or even your phone. If you want a pro DJ to get and keep the party going I can quote for that as well but you can save money by Doing It Yourself.

Sound equipment is available as individual items or I can offer a package to make things easier.

A few lights can change the atmospere of any party, simple to operate lights can turn your gathering into a party.

Uplighting can also be supplied to provide the right party atmosphere to your marquee or party gazebo.

The simple addition of a smoke smoke machine is a great way to make the party /disco lights stand out by enabling the beams of light to be seem cutting through the smoke to add to the dramatic effect. Please be aware that some venue do not allow the use of smoke machines as they can set off smoke alarms - check before you hire.

What kids party is complete without a bubble machine? Its a simple effect that they all go crazy for and can also be used for effect atweddings and civil partnerships.

Terms and Conditions

When hiring equipment I will always require two forms of identification - one photgraphic and one proof of address. Photo identification can be a valid UK photocard driving liscence or passport. Proof of address can be a bank statement or utility bill dated within 3 months. Other forms of ID maybe acceptable but please check before hand.

A cash deposit or guaranteed cheque deposit will be required which will vary depending upon the value of the equipment hired.

Equipment will only be hired to persons over the age of 18.

Hire rates will be for a single days hire, equipment hired on Saturday maybe returned on Monday, but this is subject to individual agreement at the time of the collection. Extended hire periods are also available.

Hire rates are based upon collection of equipment. A delivery, set up and collection service can be provided at additional cost subject to availablility of techicians.

All bubble and smoke machine are supplied with a limited amout of fluid. Please note smoke and bubble machines can cause solid surface to become slippery.

The hirer will be instructed on the safe use of all equipment and the hirer is fully responsible for the correct use of the equipment and JMF Disco is not liable should any accidents occur from the negligence of the hirer.

JMF Disco will provide all leads necessary for use of the equipment. All leads need to be returned either coiled or 'tied up' - failure to do so will incurr a charge of £1 per lead.

The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment however caused, and will reimburse JMF Disco for the full replacement or repair cost should this occur.

Equipment returned late will be charged at a daily rate.

Your deposit will be returned once all items have been checked for damage and any additional fees (if applicable) are paid.
